• Wednesday 10 September 2025 Year 3 Netball Year 3 did a fantastic job this week thinking about the role of the attacker in Netball. We practiced some fancy footwork and played some mini matches where each team was trying to get possession of the ball. We showed off our skills while being sensible, respectful and working well as a team!
• Wednesday 10 September 2025 Year 6 Computing This week Year 6 enjoyed learning about how computers send information using IP addresses. They enjoyed using the chrome books to to look up different companies IP addresses from their websites.

• Sunday 7 September 2025 Year 2 Art Gallery - Still Life We are studying Still Life paintings this term. We set up a gallery of Still Life paintings in the corridor where we gave our opinions and compared the similarities and differences between the photos - great oracy! We then started to look at the colour palettes.

• Friday 5 September 2025 Our First Week in the EYFS! What an amazing first week it has been for our wonderful new EYFS children. They have settled in so beautifully, coming in with big smiles in the morning and playing so cooperatively with their new peers. We have seen an immense amount of kindness, turn taking and sharing this week. The children wowed me on Thursday when they came together as a full class for the first time!

• Tuesday 1 July 2025 London's Burning! Year 1 have been learning all about London. This week, we learnt about a significant event in London's History...The Great Fire of London.
• Friday 27 June 2025 Let's catch a taxi? This project taught our Year 1 children about wheels, axles and chassis and how they work together to make a vehicle move.
• Friday 27 June 2025 Coding our own games In this term's Computing lessons we've been completing the "Programming B – Repetition in Games," unit. This week, Year 4 students dove headfirst into the wonderful world of loops—and lived to tell the tale! Disciplinary knowledge included learning how to use count-controlled loops to repeat actions efficiently in Scratch. Instead of dragging the same block five times (ugh!), students discovered the power of the magical repeat block. It was a lightbulb moment—some may even say it was “loop-erific.”

• Monday 23 June 2025 The EYFS' First School Trip! Today the children in the EYFS went on their first school trip to Tyland Barn, the headquarters of the Kent Wildlife Trust. We were greeted by some lovely volunteers and our trip leader - Matthew. The children adored Matthew and couldn't stop laughing at his funny jokes.
• Friday 20 June 2025 An Exploration to Forest School! This week the EYFS have been learning about explorations! In our topic lessons we have had a Geography focus and have been learning about the continents and oceans. We finished our week with a journey to the garden for Forest School with Mrs Le Beau, we had a fantastic time making leaf rubbings and nature faces.
• Friday 20 June 2025 Who is that Baby? For RSHE, we have been thinking about how we have changed since we were babies. We played a very fun game of 'Who Is That Baby?'
• Sunday 15 June 2025 Year 1 - Rain and Sunrays Year 1 are looking at textures and shapes in our Art topic this term.
