Y6's Wood cookies....
4th October - Year 6. Well, what a fantastic day I have had with our year 6's. We had such good morning and afternoon sessions.I'm so impressed at how well the pupils embraced the time we had. There was such a calm atmosphere. The pupils showed such patience and real friendship with each other. We made wood cookie name badges, nature frames and looked at the different tress in our forest school area. We learnt some safety rules around making a fire and then ofcourse made some hot chocolate. We learnt alot about being patient today as it took alot of time to get our hole made in our wood cookies. Everyone was so proud when they finally made a hole! A true testamant to what you can achieve when working together and taking your time with something. Thank you year 6s for a brilliant day:).
