Popcorn year two

Year 2 and I had a great time today despite the rain.

The children made some really lovely nature necklaces. They found an object they wanted to draw on their wood cookies. They attached the item to the necklace. They were wonderfully creative and proud of what

We then had some safety refreshers especially around fire. I then spoke to the children about how to use certain tools safely so we could cut some kindling for our fire. I then showed them the method we used to do this. It was lovely to have a nice warm fire as we were all feeling a little chilly. Most of the children enjoyed the popcorn too.
