Our First Sports Day!

Reception had a fantastic time taking part in their very first Sports Day! The children enthusiastically joined in with a carousel of activities, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and perseverance as they tackled each challenge. They showed great confidence in trying new activities and encouraged one another throughout the afternoon.

After completing the carousel, the children took part in their running races. It was wonderful to see them listening carefully to instructions, taking turns and celebrating each other's successes. The children displayed many of the skills we develop in EYFS, including cooperation, resilience and physical coordination.

To round off the event, everyone enjoyed a refreshing ice lolly to help cool down after all their hard work in the sunshine.

We were incredibly proud of how well-behaved Year R were throughout the day. Their positive attitudes, excellent manners and enthusiasm made the event a pleasure for everyone involved.
