Alpacas, Donkeys & Sheep
Yesterday, a dozen or so children were lucky enough to spend the afternoon at our local Dandelion Time farm.
We fed the sheep, topped up their hay, and then spent some time stroking the donkeys. The alpacas were a little shy and kept their distance, which was a shame—they had adorable faces and the longest, loveliest eyelashes.

Afterwards, we headed into the willow forest to cut some branches. Back at the roundhouse, we used the willow to make our own dreamcatchers. Then we created Christmas oranges scented with festive spices. They smelled wonderful, and we were able to take them home. The guinea pigs also made an appearance in the roundhouse, and everyone had a chance to cuddle them.
To finish the afternoon, we played board games together.
Dandelion Time is brilliant!
