• Friday 6 December 2024 Brilliant Creative Home Learning in Year 6! We have had another creative home learning task this week and Year 6 have certainly risen to the challenge!
• Friday 8 November 2024 Launch into Dodgeball... This week we thoroughly enjoyed our special PE lesson with Ant (a PE specialist). He was really fun and he introduced lots of new skills and techniques to help us with our new topic: Dodgeball!
• Friday 8 November 2024 A Special Rememberance! Today we welcomed Scarlett T's uncle to the school for our Rememberance Service. He played the bugle, sounding the Last Post out across a perfectly silent and reflective playground. This experience was very special, poignant and made us think even more about all our learning surrounding World War 1.
• Friday 25 October 2024 Wonderful Writers in Yr 6 And finally... We have published our incredible diary entires depicting the wild adventures of Annie Eddison- Taylor!
• Friday 25 October 2024 A Special Treat! In Year 6, we all enjoyed a special Half-Term Hot Chocolate - we especially enjoyed all the different toppings! A special treat to celebrate all the hard work and dedication shown this term - Happy Half Term Everyone! x
• Friday 25 October 2024 Awesome Artwork! We have had a lovey arty day, enjoying a bit of fun and creative freedom! The sketch books are already looking incredible and I can't wait to see their final piece...watch this space!
• Sunday 13 October 2024 Year 6 - Using arrays and cube links to problem solve This week, Year 6 have been creating arrays to solve prime number problems. Students commented that the arrays helped them to work out if a number was a prime number because they would only be able to make two arrays if it is a prime number.
• Friday 11 October 2024 Incredible Home Learning in Year 6! This week we have been quite literally blown away with the creativity, knowledge and dedication to their home learning/ project work!
• Friday 4 October 2024 Forest School & Outdoor Learning in Yr 6! What a wonderful day! We have thoroughly enjoyed a wide selection of creative outdoor activities and the sunshine! Today we split the class in 2, with half the class completing Forest School activities in the morning and half class on the field, learning outdoors. Today the activities included: wood cookie pendants, a science/nature audit of the local area, a camp fire and hot chocolate, mini habitats and lot of team work! We have been so very impressed with the oracy skills on display today - keep it up everyone!

• Friday 27 September 2024 Super Science in Yr 6! This week we have looked at classification with the use of observation, questioning and identification we have created a range of dichotomous keys. We have also started looking at the micro world of bacteria; we have an ongoing experiment on our windowsill, testing how well we have washed our hands...watch this space for the shocking results!
• Sunday 22 September 2024 Brilliant Bewl Water! What a wonderful time and fantastic opportunity to improve our collaboration skills! It was incredible to see all the Year 6 children full immersed in such a wide range of different activities - everyone had a go, everyone grew in confidence and everyone felt proud of their achievements - what a brilliant day!
• Sunday 15 September 2024 Year 6 - Making themselves feel at home This week, Year 6 have been busy (in-between all of our learning) making the classroom feel like their own.
• Friday 13 September 2024 Active Outdoor Maths in Year 6! This afternoon we enjoyed the sunshine and reinforced our Maths with some active learning! We have been consolidating our learning surrounding multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1,000 - great work everyone!
