Year 6 - Using arrays and cube links to problem solve

This week, Year 6 have been creating arrays to solve prime number problems.  Students commented that the arrays helped them to work out if a number was a prime number because they would only be able to make two arrays if it is a prime number. 

Year 6, then used cube links to solve squared and cubed number problems. Students said they love using manipulatives to help them visualise and solve problems.
