Year 5 Loving Learning!

What a busy week Year 5 have had with some amazing learning!

In maths, we have been focusing on learning place value to 1,000,000 and the children have grasped the concepts so well. Their mental maths is improving so much with our 'Morning Mental Maths' and their problem solving work in pairs has shown what resilient learners they are.

We have been developing vocabulary in comprehension lessons, discovering about seasonality and land use in geography and looking at the 'Expressionist Movement' in art. The children also wrote the most incredible character descriptions about 'Annie' from our class text 'Queen of the Falls'.

Very well done to everyone in Year 5 - the whole team are so proud of you all!
