Rain & Scavanger Hunts
Today has been a pretty wet and muddy day with Year 4.
We had a bit of a different day as it was so rainy.
We used the cabin on our school playground as a base today.
We went scavenger hunting in the field next to the school as nature detectives. We found things that were smooth, soft, fluffy, rough amongst many other things. We put the items in our treasure boxes.
We discussed climate change in great depth and how precious our planet is. We learnt about Greta Thunburg. Something she says that stood out to us all was ' no matter how small you are, you can make a big difference'. The children told me of things they could do to help with climate change and global warming.
A cup of hot chocolate and a biscuits were enjoyed by all to help us warm up from the cold weather.
