Cool Rules for Computing

This week in Computing, we thought carefully about our school rules, and came up with ways we could stay safe on our devices, especially the Chromebooks.

We discussed that the four main reasons we have rules are:

To stay safe
To make sure we are all happy
So that we can learn
To help us to be kind to each other

We discussed lots of ways we could stay safe when using the Chromebooks and came up with the following rules. We then put them onto a poster so we could remind ourselves how to be safe.

Hold your device carefully
Stop using your device when someone is talking to you
Take turns with your partner
Use only the apps you have been asked to used
Don’t share your passwords
