Bonfire Night in the EYFS

This week in the EYFS we have learnt all about Guy Fawkes and why we celebrate Bonfire Night! The children shared their own experiences and traditions surrounding Bonfire Night and our classroom was full to the brim with exciting firework-themed activities!

One day this week the children had a very exciting, treat snack of Sparkler Breadsticks! Please find the recipe below:

You will need:

- Breadsticks

- Melted Chocolate

- Sprinkles

Method:

1. Dip your breadstick into the melted chocolate

2. Roll the chocolatey end in the sprinkles

3. Enjoy your sweet and crunchy, sparkler-themed treat!

EYFS Bonfire Night Classroom

 In our outside area we continued the firework fun, including a sensory activity involving bubble wrap and shaving foam, where children could recreate the pop, crackle and bang noises of fireworks!
