A Remembrance Service to Remember

The whole school gathered this morning for a very special service of Remembrance outside where we were joined by Rifleman Myles Rundall, who is uncle to our very own Aurora and Scarlett.    Rifleman Rundall beautifully bugled  The Last Post and an immaculately observed 2 minutes silence followed.  The children behaved beautifully and it really was a moving moment which allowed us to collectively reflect and remember those whom had sacrificed so much.  I read out the exhortation:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
